At Yard Drive, we build tools to help shelters manage animal behavior and enrichment. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using Yard Drive, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to run the service:
- Account Data: When you sign up, we collect your name and email address via Clerk (our authentication provider).
- Payment Data: If you upgrade to a paid plan, your credit card and billing information are collected and processed securely by Stripe. Yard Drive does not store your full credit card details on our servers.
- Shelter Data: We store the dog profiles, playgroup notes, and kennel locations you enter into our system via Supabase.
- Media: Photos and videos of animals are stored via Bunny.net.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Yard Drive app.
- Process your subscription payments.
- Communicate with you about updates or support issues.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
To keep Yard Drive running, we share specific data with these trusted providers:
- Clerk: Identity and login management.
- Stripe: Payment processing.
- Supabase: Secure database storage.
- Bunny.net: Global media delivery (photos/videos).
4. Your Rights (California Privacy Rights)
As a user in California, you have the right under CalOPPA and CCPA to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we have on file for you.
- Request that we delete your personal data.
- Opt-out of any marketing communications.
